The University of Indianapolis Department of Athletics and the Greyhound Club are pleased to announce the 2025 UIndy Athletics Hall of Fame inductees. This year's class includes Bob Bartolomeo, Dick Elmore, Seth Fair, Ann Hensley, David Logan and the 2006 Women's Soccer Team, along with "I" Person of the Year Marc Adams.
The Hall of Fame ceremony will occur Saturday, Feb. 8. The inductees will be introduced at halftime of the men's basketball game against the University of Missouri-St. Louis, which begins at approximately 3:30 p.m. Following the game, dinner and the induction ceremony will take place at Primo Banquet Hall and Convention Center (2615 National Avenue, Indianapolis, IN) at 5:30 p.m.
The event will feature the official Hall of Fame inductions, as well as brief remarks by the recipients. Dinner tickets are $40 per person. UIndy Athletics is proud to introduce this year's inductees:
Bob Bartolomeo served as the head football coach at the University of Indianapolis from 2010 to 2018, leading the Greyhounds to unprecedented success. Under his leadership, the team captured six Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) championships and made five NCAA Division II playoff appearances. Coach Bart's career was marked by 79-26 overall record (.752), including a 50-4 (.926) record in GLVC play, earning him four GLVC Coach of the Year awards. His teams excelled both on the field and in the classroom, with nine players receiving Academic All-America® honors and over 250 earning academic all-conference accolades. One of the highlights of his coaching career came in 2017 when he led UIndy to its first undefeated regular season since 1953, setting team records for most wins in a season (11), scoring offense (38.2 points per game), and achieving a program-high No. 5 national ranking. Coach Bart's final season in 2018 saw the Greyhounds win another GLVC title and secure their second-ever postseason victory with a 38-27 win over Fort Hays State. He retired in December 2018, leaving behind a legacy of success and a program that had become a Division II powerhouse under his guidance.
Dick Elmore is a 1966 graduate of the University of Indianapolis and a three-year letterwinner in Football and four-year letterwinner in Baseball. During his time at UIndy, Dick played as a linebacker in football, earning All-Conference honors, Defensive MVP, and a spot on the All-NAIA Region Team in 1966. In baseball, he excelled as a catcher and was a four-year player and letterwinner. His achievements were recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Robert Brooker "Outstanding Male Athlete" award in 1966, the Park Jordan "Scholar Athlete" award in both 1963 and 1964, and the Walter Brenneman "Sportsmanship Award" in 1966. After graduation, Dick became an educator and tutor, teaching physical education and mathematics at Zionsville High School.
Seth Fair is a 2010 graduate of the University of Indianapolis and four-year letterwinner in Men's Golf. During his time at UIndy, Seth was named the 2010 GLVC Player of the Year, was ranked as the Division II #1 player by Golf Stat, and was a finalist for the prestigious Byron Nelson Award. He was a four-time All-GLVC Team selection and a four-time All-Midwest Region Team honoree. In addition, Seth earned Ping Division II Honorable Mention All-American status in 2008 and was twice named a Cleveland/Srixon All-American Scholar. He owns the fourth-lowest career stroke average in UIndy history and set a course record with a fourth-place finish at the 2010 NCAA Division II National Championship. Seth also captained the team for three years, helping them to a GLVC championship in 2008-09. After graduation, Seth served as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2010 before embarking on a professional golf career on the Web.com Tour.
Ann Hensley is a 1996 graduate of the University of Indianapolis and a four-year letterwinner in Women's Basketball. During her time at UIndy, Ann left a lasting mark on the program, finishing 4th all-time in total points (1,650) earning her a spot in the 1,000 Point Club and 6th in points per game (15.3). She ranks 5th in field goals made, 2nd in field goal attempts, and 5th in free throws made. Additionally, she stands 16th in games played, 19th in three-point field goals made, 15th in three-point attempts, and 16th in both free throw percentage and assists. Ann was a key member of the Hall of Fame team that won the GLVC championship in 1992-93. She was a three-time All-GLVC selection from 1993-96 and was awarded the Angus Nicoson "Something Extra" Award in 1995-96. Ann also served as team captain in her junior and senior seasons. After graduation, she completed her master's degree at the University of Indianapolis in 2000 and served as a graduate assistant during the 1998-99 season. She currently works as a respiratory sales specialist in Denver, Colorado.
David Logan is a 2019 graduate of the University of Indianapolis and a four-year letterwinner in Men's Basketball. During his time at UIndy, David was named National Player of the Year and Conference Player of the Year in 2005, while leading the nation in scoring with an impressive 28.6 points per game. He became the program's all-time leading scorer with 2,352 points and ranked second in field goals made (856), third in field goals attempted, and second in three-point field goals made (321), while holding the record for most three-point attempts. Additionally, he finished his career ranking sixth in assists (388), second in steals (187), 11th in free throws made, and 15th in free throw attempts. After graduation, David pursued a successful professional basketball career, playing in multiple countries, including Italy, Israel, the USA, Poland, Spain, Greece, Germany, Lithuania, and France. Beyond basketball, David is also an entrepreneur, founding Logan Express, a logistics company that hires drivers to transport everyday goods to various locations.
The 2006 Women's Soccer Team. Under Head Coach Drew Roff, the 2006 Women's Soccer team had an outstanding season, finishing with a 17-5-1 overall record and a .761 winning percentage. The team excelled in Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) play, posting a 9-4-0 record, and boasted an impressive 11-1-1 home record. The Greyhounds capped their season with a GLVC Championship victory after defeating Northern Kentucky, Quincy, and Bellarmine in the tournament. Their postseason run continued with a thrilling 2-1 win over Mercyhurst in the NCAA Regional before their journey ended in the Great Lakes Region finals against Grand Valley State.
"I" Person of the Year: Marc Adams is a 1981 graduate of University of Indianapolis and a eight-year letterwinner of both the Cross Country and Track teams. Marc was the team captain his senior year and received the Kelso Reid Mental Attitude award in cross country in 1980. He has been woodworking professionally for more than 40 years and, in 1991, became a technical consultant to the WWPA, SFPA, AHEC, and the U.S. government, representing the United States on International Quality of Furniture Making. Marc has won the Indiana Artist/Craftsman of the Year award three times and was recognized as one of Indiana's Top 40 Under 40 in 1998. His work has been featured in Design Book Six, Design Book Seven, and The Workshop by Taunton Press, as well as in national publications such as Woodshop News and Fine Woodworking. Marc co-authored Working with Plastic Laminates and authored The Difference Makers – The 4th Generation. His Technical Techniques video series won four Telly awards, and he has contributed articles, including an eight-part series on workshop safety for Popular Woodworking magazine. In 2017, Marc received an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from the University of Indianapolis, and in 2022, he was invited as the Presidential Guest Speaker at the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Marc was also awarded the Sagamore of the Wabash, Indiana's highest civilian honor, by the Governor of Indiana. In October 2024, the Johnson County Museum started a six-month exhibit of Marc's work, along with pieces by some of his instructors.
