AMERICUS, Ga. – The University of Indianapolis baseball team dropped lost their third-straight contest to the Georgia Southwestern, this one in rough fashion, being shutout offensively, while giving up a miserable 16 runs in the ballgame.

INS & OUTS
The Hurricanes got going offensively early, scratching across three runs in the first frame and another in the second. That started the offensive showcase for the home team as they scored in every inning all the way into the sixth, with four spot in the sixth.

Cole Hampton was the lone Greyhound to record multiple hits, going 2-3 on the day.
Zack Williams and
Easton Good joined him in the hit club. In total 14 different Greyhounds had plate appearances in the contest.

As for pitching,
Caden Wilburn was the starter for the Hounds, but after a rough first inning of work and a leadoff homer in the second frame, saw his day end. The Hounds sent out five pitchers after that, the most effective being
Blake Sarjent who pitched a clean seventh inning.
