INDIANAPOLIS - The UIndy men's basketball team is ranked first in the latest NCAA DII Midwest Region poll, released on Wednesday. This is the season's first set of ranking the top 10, as last week programs were simply listed as "under consideration."
The Greyhounds conclude the regular season this weekend, battling Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday evening at 8:30 ET.
UIndy is on pace to make its 14th NCAA tournament appearance and second under head coach
Paul Corsaro. Winners of seven of their last eight, the Hounds are currently 19-7 this winter and have already secured a share of the GLVC regular season crown for the second consecutive year - the first time a league program has done so since Kentucky Wesleyan three-peated from 1997-00.
