ST. LOUIS— In its final regular-season tournament of the season, the UIndy women's golf team topped a talented 16-team field at the UMSL Spring Invitational, held at the par-71 Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis Sunday and Monday.

The Greyhounds earned a five-stroke win, besting
regionally-ranked Findlay (No. 1), Grand Valley (No. 3) and host UMSL (No. 4) in the process.

INS & OUTS
Two Hounds earned all-tournament accolades, with
Anci Dy (-2) taking the runner-up spot and freshman
Caroline Whallon (+4) finishing T-4. Both carded a round in the 60s on the week, with Dy going eagle/birdie on the final two holes to come within a single stroke behind medalist Mary Kelly Mulcahy of Findlay.

Appearing in the UIndy lineup for the first time ever, sophomore
Macey Brown (+6) notched her best collegiate finish with a sixth-place performance. The Owensboro, Ky., native carded scores of 69-72 on Sunday to put herself in contention heading into Monday's final round.

Freshman
Jess Haines (+12) finished T-9 for her fourth straight top 10. Individuals
Ellen Caton (+17) and
Ava Ray (+20) finished T-20 and T-32, respectively, while senior
Matilda Cederholm (+22) tied for 41st.
