GREENWOOD, Ind. - College Sports Communicators announced its 2024 NCAA Division II Academic All-District® At-Large Teams recently, with the maximum 12 UIndy student-athletes
—six women and six men
—earning a spot on the prestigious list.
The Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. To be eligible, student-athletes be a non-freshman with a 3.50 cumulative GPA and also meet certain playing time minimums, depending on the sport.
Anci Dy,
Matilda Cederholm and
Ava Ray of the
national champion women's golfer team appeared on the list, while three women's lacrosse student-athletes—
Megan Dunn,
Madison Phillips and
Joey Fowler—joined them.
Wrestlers
Derek Blubaugh,
Jackson Hoover and
Owen Butler earned inclusion on the men's side, while the men's lacrosse trio of
Nathan Lam,
Triston Schaffer and
Jack Sullivan also made the cut.
Elite honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 16 (women) and July 17 (men).
