INDIANAPOLIS – The No. 21 UIndy wrestling team picked up a big GLVC dual win on Saturday evening at Ruth Lilly Fitness Center, defeating 25th-ranked Maryville by a team score of 26-9.

Eight Greyhounds claimed victory in their respective matches, highlighted by
Cale Gray's 5-1 decision over 285's third-ranked Ryan Herman.

UIndy has now claimed back-to-back victories after beginning the season 0-5 in duals.

It was all Greyhounds from the start, with
Nathan Smith earning the first of three major decision wins on the night.
Jackson Hoover (149) and
Shane Bates (165) followed their teammate with a decisive victory of their own, as top-ranked
Derek Blubaugh dominated once again at 197 with a 16-1 tech fall against Jeremiah Larson.

Gray put an exclamation point on the night with his triumph at heavyweight, following up his tech fall against Findlay on Friday.

Brayden Lowery (141) secured his own tight victory, while
Aidan Petersen (184) blanked Dalton Litzsinger by a 7-0 decision.
