Talented Competition Awaits UIndy Swim/Dive in Season-Opening Weekend

INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy swimming & diving programs kicks of its 2025-26 season this weekend. The Greyhounds will host fellow-DII-power Nova Southern at the Ruth Lilly Center poll on Friday evening at 5 p.m., before both schools are joined by Kenyon College and Carson-Newman for a quad meet at crosstown North Central High School on Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock.

Coverage for the weekend will include a live stream of the on-campus Friday dual and live results for both events on the Meet Mobile app. Additionally, UIndy Athletics is hosting  Fan Appreciation Weekend this week. A purchase of a single football game ticket gets fans admission all eight on-campus Greyhounds sporting events from Friday through Sunday, including the including Friday evening swim dual.

All three of this weekend's visitors bring an NCAA Championship pedigree to the season-opening swim meets. The Nova Southern women are the three-time reigning Division II national champions, while the men placed 15th at Nationals last March. The Carson-Newman men and women finished 24th and 28th at that same meet, respectively, while both Kenyon teams placed in the top five at the most-recent NCAA DIII Championships.
