INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis senior quarterback Gavin Sukup has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Offensive Player of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday. Coming off a record-setting performance at Southwest Baptist, Sukup is now an eight-time GLVC weekly award winner, matching Greyhound great Toriano Clinton for most in program history.

• Broke both the UIndy single-season passing touchdowns record and career passing TD mark
• Reached 8,000 career passing yards, the third player in program history to hit that milestone
• Helped UIndy increase points per game in conference games to 53.3
