The Hounds open their second season with Head Coach Scott Heady at the helm, traveling to Kentucky Wesleyan on Friday, before the 2025-26 home opener against Grand Valley on Sunday.
The Hounds see a slew of fresh faces, seeing only three returners in Kelvin Amoako, Noah Kon, and Pierce Thomas. Amoako led the Greyhounds in minutes-played in UIndy's exhibition match against top-ranked Purdue. While, first-year Hounds Shaun Arnold and Carmelo Harris impressed in their respective debuts; Harris finished with a team-high 19 points, including five 3-pointers, while Arnold filled the box score with eight points, five assists, five steals, and three rebounds.
The Hounds face the Panthers of Kentucky Wesleyan for the third-straight season. UIndy claimed a win in 2023 and an overtime win at Nicoson Hall last season, but Kentucky Wesleyan leads the series 56-17. Sunday marks the 13th matchup between the Hounds and the Lakers, with last year's double-overtime win the third straight win for UIndy and a 7-6 advantage in the series.
