The UIndy volleyball team starts the road to its fifth GLVC title with a matchup against Maryville in the GLVC Quarterfinal on Friday at 3:30 p.m. This year's matchup is a repeat of the 2024 GLVC Volleyball Quarterfinal, where the Hounds advanced with a 3-1 win over the Saints.
UIndy defeated Maryville 3-1 earlier this season in a four-set battle in St. Louis. Senior Paige Parlanti recorded a double-double, recording 23 kills and scooping up 25 digs for the Hounds. Freshman Carly Fonda raked up a game-high 25 assists.
Quarterfinal 2: #4 Indianapolis vs. #5 Maryville | 3:30 PM ET
- Indianapolis went 19-10 overall and 9-4 in GLVC action during the regular season.
- Maryville went 15-12 overall and 8-5 in GLVC action during the regular season.
- The Greyhounds beat the Saints, 3-1 (26-24, 28-26, 16-25, 25-17), in St. Louis on Oct. 11.
- Indianapolis is making its 26th appearance in the GLVC postseason and has won four previous titles.
- Maryville is making its fourth appearance in the GLVC postseason.
Each of the four quarterfinal winners from Friday, Nov. 21 will advance to the semifinals set for 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM Saturday, Nov. 22. The winners of the semifinal matches will face each other on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 12 PM for a shot at being crowned 2025 GLVC Volleyball Champions.
For the second consecutive season, all GLVC Championship Tournament action will be streamed for $15 per match or $25 for the full tournament on GLVCSN.com, the GLVCSN iOS and Android mobile apps, and GLVCSN OTT apps on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Android TV.
