KENOSHA, Wis. — The University of Indianapolis men's and women's cross country teams competed in the 2025 NCAA DII Midwest Regional Championships at Parkside on Saturday. The Hounds come home with two All-Region runners in Hailey Orosz and Felix Rivet. The women's team finished 19th in a field of 198 runners from 32 teams for the 6k race. The men's squad faced a 10k race for the first time this season and placed 16th out of 29 teams in a field of 203 runners.
Women's Recap
Orosz was the top-finisher for the women's squad with a 17th-place finish, clocking a 21:30.6 6k. Orosz's regional performance is the highest regional finish by a Greyhound in the 6k since Lauren Bailey in 2019, and 1:10 away from Bailey's record set in 2020.
Freshman Savannah Danielson was the next Hound to finish with a new personal record of 22:55.9 in the 6k. Senior Emma Gaston rounded out the top three on the women's side, clocking a 23:09.7, 31 seconds faster than her previous personal best.
Men's Recap
Rivet was the top-finishing Greyhound, coming in 13th, three spots ahead of his finish in the 2024 Midwest Regional. His performance is the best performance from a Hound at Regionals since Alex Cushman's second-place finish in 2015. The Frenchman was just 20 seconds shy of the Greyhound record set by Cushman in 2015.
Sophomore Conyer Wilson was the next on the men's squad to cross the finish line, clocking a new personal best of 32:27.9 in the 10K. Josue Le Cadre came in next for the Hounds with a time of 32:54.6, followed by Ian Pugh with a time of 33:03.6. Freshman Jacob Chapman rounded out the Greyhound top-five with a time of 34:32.1.

The NCAA Division II National Championships take place in Kenosha, Wis., on Saturday, November 22. Qualifiers for the National Championships will be released on Monday, November 10th.
