MUNCIE, Ind. – With the Greyhound swimmers staying home this weekend, the UIndy divers made the short trip up I-69 on Saturday to garner some valuable competition experience at Division I Ball State University. Taking on the host Cardinals, the Greyhounds posted some solid numbers on both the 1- and 3-meter boards
Junior
Megan Sunderman led the way for the UIndy women. The Fairfield, Ohio native took runner-up honors on the 1-meter board, compiling a six-dive score of 228.53. She was followed by her teammates
Abby Sneed (3rd) and
Alli Roland (7th).
Sunderman also paced the Hounds on the high board, with her score of 223.43 good for third place. Sneed placed fourth while Roland finished sixth.
On the men's side, freshman
Donovan McMahon crept closer to hitting the NCAA standards. The hometown product took third place on the 1-meter board (276.90) and fourth on the 3-meter (283.50).Â
His closest Greyhound competition on the 1-meter was
Eliot Riem (6th), while
Adam Carr was the next-highest UIndy finisher on the 3-meter (7th).
Randy Balbuena placed 8th on both boards.
UP NEXT
Only the mid-season meet remains on the schedule for the 2025 calendar year. The Hounds will head to Ohio and Miami University for the Miami Invitational on November 20-22.
