ROLLA, Mo. – The UIndy women's basketball won its third straight game on Saturday, pulling off a second-half comeback to defeat Missouri S&T, 64-59. The Greyhounds have held their opponents to just 53.3 points per game during the winning streak.

Jaelynne Murray scored 17 of her career-high 21 points in the second half, while
Halie Gilbert posted her second double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

UIndy is now 18-6 all-time against S&T, including five straight wins dating back to February 2023.

Trailing by 10 at halftime, the Greyhounds sprinted out of the locker room on a mission. UIndy forged a 12-0 run in the first 3:40 of the third period, with
Patricia Chikamba and
Autumn Rucker adding buckets between Murray's six points during the stretch.

The teams traded leads the rest of the way, with Murray scoring 11points in the quarter.

Murray put the Hounds ahead for good with her fourth 3-pointer before
Elana Wells stretched the lead to five with three minutes to play. The Miners had their opportunities in the final moments, but Chikamba swatted away the potential game-tying triple into
Amyrah Sapenter's hands to hold on for the victory.

Gilbert was a consistent factor in the UIndy comeback bid, securing five boards, one assist, and one block in less than 10 second-half minutes.
