LEBANON, Ill. – The UIndy women's basketball team suffered a 79-64 loss at McKendree on Saturday afternoon from the Harry M. Statham Sports Center. Three finished in double figures, led by
Jaelynne Murray's 15 points.
Â
Amyrah Sapenter logged all 40 minutes on the court, recording 12 points, five rebounds, and two steals.

INS & OUTS
Ruby Garner gave the Greyhounds their first lead of the game at the 6:35 mark of the second quarter, thanks to one of
Patricia Chikamba's four assists on the afternoon. The Bearcats responded, however, and outscored the Hounds 8-0 over the final four-plus minutes of the half.
Â
Looking for momentum,
Kylah Lawson found
Halie Gilbert under the basket to cut the deficit to six with less than six minutes to play in the third quarter, but it would not get any closer than that. A 3-pointer from McKendree's Georgia Duncan just before the buzzer put the Bearcats up by double digits the rest of the way.
Â
Murray scored eight of her 15 points in the fourth period, including the team's first and last field goals of the frame. Sapenter capped the count on Greyhound helpers at 18 in the contest on Murray's final bucket, dishing out two herself.
