INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy women's lacrosse team was selected second in the GLVC preseason coaches' poll, released Wednesday afternoon.

Maryville topped the poll, with Missouri Western and Rockhurst rounding out the top four. UIndy received two first-place votes. The preseason poll is selected by the league's eight head coaches and are not permitted to vote for their own team.

The Greyhounds are the only GLVC champion the Conference knows, claiming four consecutive titles since the league began sponsoring the sport in 2021. UIndy dominated Maryville in last season's
championship game in St. Louis.

Olivia Bladon, along with reigning GLVC Freshman of the Year
Amanda Hurry. Head coach

- Received two first-place votes and 44 total points.
- Has claimed all four league titles since the GLVC's inaugural season (2021-24), winning in 2024 as the second seed.
- Earned berth to NCAA Tournament for sixth-straight season.
- Coached by Peyton Romig, who enters her second year after a 14-6 overall and 6-1 GLVC record last season.
- Return First Team All-GLVC honorees Olivia Bladon and GLVC Freshman of the Year – Amanda Hurry – along with Second Team selection Malaena Michielin.
- Bladon was named Second Team All-America by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) in 2024.
