LIMESTONE, S.C. – The 10th-ranked UIndy men's lacrosse team suffered its first loss on the young season Friday evening, falling to No. 4 Limestone by a score of 11-6.

Alec Score was a bright spot on the Greyhound defense, finishing with a game-high six ground balls and two caused turnovers.

INS & OUTS
The Saints took advantage of miscues on Friday, scoring six goals directly off Greyhound turnovers. Limestone blanked UIndy in the third quarter, scoring three times to stretch its lead to an unsurmountable 8-3.

Nick Luitwieler netted his second goal of the evening early in the final frame to cut the deficit in half, but Limestone halted the damage there, scoring two more itself over the next five minutes.
Triston Schaffer, following his eight goals in the season opener, entered the scoring column with 53 seconds left.

Matt Pereira put the Hounds on the board with under five minutes left in the first quarter before
Nathan Lam midway through the second quarter.

Netminder
AJ Preachuk finished with 12 saves, seven of which came in the first half. The transfer also scooped up one ground ball.

Magnus Salmon scored his first-career goal late in the fourth quarter. Lam was credited with the assist for his second point of the contest.
