Box Score Chattanooga, TN – The University of Indianapolis men's tennis team took down Young Harris College 5-2 in their first match over a spring break trip to Tennessee. The Greyhounds improve to 7-3 in the 2025 campaign.Â

In a heavily contested doubles point, UIndy ultimately fell 1-2 after Matthieu Derache and Tadeo Gaggiofatto fell in a tiebreak 7-6 (12-10) to Noah Pawirodirjo and Mason Harmon in #1 doubles. Manu Lanteri and Lorenzo Di Cursi won in #3 doubles 6-4 over Gregor Gottien and Parker Rowan, while David Simeonov and Asier Ayllon Prado fell 4-6 to Nils Vercruyssen and Samuel Guzon.Â
Their comeback started in singles, with Simeonov evening the score with a 6-3 6-3 finish in #1 singles over Prawirodirjo. Derache gave the Hounds their first lead of the game with a 7-6 6-4 victory against Gottien in #3 singles.Â
The match was then tied at 2-2 when Harmon outlasted Lanteri in a third-set tiebreak in #2 singles, with a score of 6-4 4-6 10-7.Â
The Hounds proceeded to rattle off three straight wins, all coming in straight set finishes. Ayllon Prado topped Vercruyssen 6-2 6-1 in #4 singles to put UIndy up 3-2. Gaggiofatto bested Holden Hall 6-3 6-2 in #5 singles, and Di Cursi finished the day taking down Rowan 6-3 6-3. Â
