INDIANAPOLIS – The No. 8 UIndy women's lacrosse team scored a season-high 26 goals on Friday, defeating Quincy by a score of 26-4 from Key Stadium on a rainy Friday afternoon.

Emily Ghazal led the offense with 10 points, dishing out a career-high seven assists while recording a hat trick. Meanwhile,
Olivia Bladon did her best
Peyton Romig impression, securing 16 draw controls and a career-best six goals.

It took all of 1:07 of game time for freshman
Kendall Conrad to put the Greyhounds up for good with
Alexa Versaci following just 14 seconds later. In all, UIndy rattled off seven consecutive goals over the first eight minutes, with five different scorers. Bladon and Conrad tallied two apiece during the stretch, while
Malaena Michielin took advantage of a woman-up opportunity for an unassisted goal at the 11:19 mark of the opening quarter.

Sage Da Silva started the running clock 57 seconds into the second period, netting her first score of the day off an assist from Bladon. The junior finished with a hat trick, scoring two more times in the third quarter.

UIndy ended the game on a 9-0 run, including five goals in the final frame. Rookies
Lucy Sander and
Maggie Durkin tallied goals, with Ghazal completing the hat trick with 2:36 remaining. Her fourth-quarter assist to Sander marked the seventh and final of the game, good for fourth in program history for a single game.

The Greyhounds dominated possession, as Quincy managed just 12 shots and turned the ball over 11 times. Michielin was credited with two caused turnovers to lead the team, while defensive mainstays
Amanda Hurry and
Hollis Rang nabbed one each.

- UIndy fired 43 shots on Friday, 33 of which made its way on goal.
Ava Graham made five saves between the pipes through the first three quarters, while
Lylian Iman handled the final quarter without much action.
- Bladon nearly pulled off a double-double of sorts, finishing with eight points and 16 draw controls.

Caroline Krauch was second on the team with four draw wins, adding a pair of goals and one caused turnover.
