INDIANAPOLIS – University of Indianapolis freshman outfielder Brooklyn Willis was named Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Player of the Week in softball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

• Went 3-for-8 (.375) with one walk for a .444 on-base percentage in two games
• Belted two home runs and one double, posting a 1.250 slugging percentage and driving in four runs
• Delivered a two-run homer in both games, putting UIndy ahead in the ninth inning of the first game and tied the second game with two outs in the seventh
• Earns first career Player of the Week Award
