INDIANAPOLIS – The No. 9 UIndy women's lacrosse team stormed past Lewis on Saturday to begin GLVC action, dominating from start to finish in the 22-1 win at Key Stadium on the rainy south side of Indianapolis.

Olivia Bladon and
Sage Da Silva each scored five times in the win, while
Hollis Rang caused five turnovers and scored her first-career goal.

INS & OUTS
Ally Savino capped the 10-goal first quarter with 12 seconds left, joining six other teammates in the scoring column after just 15 minutes.
Emily Ghazal dished out three assists in the opening frame to
Malaena Michielin, Da Silva, and Savino.

UIndy held possession for much of the contest, causing 16 of Lewis' 20 turnovers. Nine Hounds were credited with a CTO, including freshman
Hadlee DeCampos. The Greyhounds also scored four woman-up goals, with
Elle Cimini opening the second-half scoring with a netter just 39 seconds after the break.

Alexa Versaci has now scored a goal in three of the past four games and recorded her first multi-point affair since March 7 against Davis & Elkins.

Ghazal got in the scoring column in the final frame, rewarding Krauch with an assist 30 seconds into the quarter. Bladon added to her hat trick for the final two goals of the afternoon, including a free-position score at the 510 mark.

The Hounds held the Flyers scoreless for the final 38 minutes, with
Lylian Iman saving the lone shot on goal of the second half with just eight seconds remaining.

INSIDE THE BOX
- Sophomore netminder
Ava Graham earned the win, making two saves in 31+ minutes on Saturday.
- Bladon could simply not be stopped, adding 12 draw controls and three assists to her five goals.

Caroline Krauch controlled the tempo in the midfield, stuffing the stat sheet with four scoops, two caused turnovers, two draw controls, and two points.
- UIndy's nine turnovers matches the lowest by the team in a game this season, as does its eight free-position goals.

UIndy now leads the all-time series, 7-0 … Lewis has scored just one goal in four of the meetings against UIndy … the Greyhounds have now won seven straight conference openers dating back to 2018.
