GAME 2 | UIndy 4, UMSL 2
With starting pitchers
Jayden Casebolt and Ashley Borowitz locked in a scoreless duel, the Greyhounds finally broke through in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Sydney Oliver and
Shelby Cook earned walks, sandwiching a Triton error to load the bases for Jager.
Â
With two out, the freshman out of New Lenox, Ill., lifted a ball the opposite way and over the leftfielder's head, clearing the bases with a go-ahead double.

Â
The Tritons managed some productive hits of their own in the next half inning, trimming the margin to one. But Casebolt (11-2) escaped the sixth with the lead and retired the Tritons in order in the seventh to earn the win.
Â
The Hounds tacked on an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth with a two-out single from
Sydney Oliver. She also added a walk and a stolen base to her stat line, while
Brooklyn Willis had two doubles and a walk.

GAME 1 | UMSL 5, UIndy 1
UIndy started the day with a productive first frame. After turning a slick 5-4-3 double play in the top of the first, they managed to score the day's first run in the bottom half to take an early lead. Jager's RBI double provided the punch, scoring Willis from second base.
Â
Freshman starter
Cheyenne Eads (12-8) kept UMSL off the board until the fourth when first baseman Hannah Tomlianovich connected for a two-out, two-run homer to put the visitors up, 2-1.
Â
UMSL added a few more runs late to pull away, while the Greyhounds ultimately struggled to deliver the timely hit. UIndy stranded 11 base runners in all, including twice leaving the bases loaded.
