MANHEIM, PA – The UIndy wrestling team had 14 members honored on the 2025 NCAA DII Men's Scholar All-American list release by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) on Monday.
Representing UIndy on the list are all six of this year's national qualifiers which include; the back-to-back 197 national champion Derek Blubaugh, as well as Brayden Lowery, Cale Gray, Jackson Hoover, Nathan Conley and Nathan Smith. Along those six, UIndy also had eight more honorees; Armen Koltookian, Gavin Garcia, Jadon Gyan, Luke Robards, Mason Cantu, Phineas Merrill, Trey Sizemore and Zachary Haughton.
These 14 Greyhounds, and the rest of the student-athletes honored on this list have excelled both on the mat and in the classroom, meeting one of the following criteria:
- All-American at the 2025 NCAA DII National Championships and 3.00 GPA
- National Qualifier to the 2025 NCAA DII National Championships and 3.25 GPA
- Competed in 4 or more events and 3.5 GPA
The Greyhounds also placed sixth as a team, with a 3.448 team GPA. They finished the highest among the GLVC schools, with Drury and Maryville being the only other two GLVC schools represented in the top-25.
