GREENWOOD, Ind. - Tadeo Gaggiofatto and Matthieu Derache of the UIndy men's tennis team were recognized on the 2025 Academic All-District list by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday. The annual list recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances and in the classroom.

To be eligible for this award, the student-athlete must earn a minimum 3.50 GPA while also competing at a high level in their sport.

Derache, a 2025 GLVC First Team honoree, was also put up for the CSC Academic All-American list, for stellar achievement on the court and classroom. Derache claims a 14-3 mark in singles, with wins in his last six singles matches. 

Gaggiofatto has been a brilliant addition to the UIndy lineup, with a dominant 20-1 record in singles competition. The Sophomore holds a 14-match win streak, and while boasting a 14-8 clip in doubles competition.

The CSC Academic All-America list will be announced on June. 4.
