Springfield, Ill. In the Semifinal of the GLVC Championship Tournament, the University of Indianapolis women's tennis team swept Drury 4-0. They extend their win streak to eight matches, and advance to the GLVC Championship match for a match against Rockhurst.

The Greyhounds struck first in doubles competition, taking wins in the #1 and #3 slots to take an early 1-0 lead.
Tyffaine Pais and
Sofia Cardenas took down the #28th-ranked doubles pair of Ewa Sandberger and Leana Chanove 6-4 in #1 doubles, while Jimena de Pablos Hernando and
Silvia Zappoli bested Antanina Novik and Ana Rose 6-4 to clinch the double point.
Singles competition started off with a ranked showdown on court #1, where No. 37 Pais trampled No. 38 Samberger 6-1 6-3 to give the Hounds a 2-0 edge over the Panthers.
Linya Chen extended the UIndy lead up to 3-0 after a 6-4 6-3 victory over Eliana Weichel in #4 singles.
The match was sealed with a comeback victory from de Pablos Hernando, who dropped the first set to Novik 6-3, but prevailed to win 6-1 in the second set, and completed the sweep with a 6-2 win in the third set.
