CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – In their first road regular season dual of the season, the UIndy women's tennis team swept Thomas More 6-0. The Greyhounds improve to 3-5 on the year, while the Saints move to 4-3. 

UIndy didn't look back after dominating the doubles action, winning every singles match in straight sets. 

INS AND OUTS
Doubles court #2 was the first decision towards the UIndy sweep, with Linya Chen and Silvia Zappoli's dominant 6-2 win over Elle Cason and Hallie Lathram. Jimena De Pablos and Sofia Cardenas put a pin in doubles play with their 6-3 win at #3 doubles, taking down Lindsey Greb and Sadie Jones. 

In singles play, Maelys Thiery-James made the first mark in singles action, overpowering Alexis Covington 6-2, 6-0 on court #1. Zappoli followed suit at #4 singles, earning a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Lathram. 

De Pablos Hernando encored the onslaught at #2 singles, besting Cason 6-2, 6-2. Next to finish was Magda Kornijczuk, who bested Bella Flores 6-4, 6-3 at #3 singles. Chen completed the sweep at #5 singles, pacing Jones to a 6-3, 6-3 win.

The Hounds will return to the 317 next Tuesday, March 3, for another in-region match against Roosevelt.
