GREENWOOD, S.C. — Indianapolis secured a decisive 16-8 victory over Lander on Saturday at Van Taylor Stadium. Indianapolis dominated the fourth quarter, scoring seven goals to seal the win.

Indianapolis took control early in the first quarter, with
Mike Rettberg scoring the first goal at 14:27, assisted by
Amadeo Miller. The team continued to maintain momentum as
Connor Magin found the back of the net at 12:12, extending the Greyhounds' lead. A strong defensive effort and effective faceoff play by
Jonah Koehler helped maintain possession and pressure.
Lander responded with a goal from Matt Duarte at 06:56, cutting into the lead. However, the Greyhounds quickly regained control, with
Mitchell Carik scoring at 04:24. The quarter closed with Indianapolis leading, 4-1, establishing a strong foundation for the remainder of the game.
The Bearcats started the second quarter with a strong offensive push, scoring twice in the opening minutes, including a man-up goal by Carson Skinner. The Greyhounds responded after a timeout, with

Tanner Hahm scored consecutive goals, with assists from

The momentum shifted as Lander scored three consecutive goals, briefly taking the lead. However, Indianapolis answered back late in the quarter with a goal from
Nick Luitwieler at 0:35, reclaiming the advantage. The quarter closed with the Greyhounds ahead, 9-8, setting up a tightly contested final quarter.
