INDIANAPOLIS – No. 9 Indianapolis senior
Mathieu Derache was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Player of the Week in men's tennis, it was announced by the league office Wednesday.
In the early workings of the season, Derache hones a 6-3 overall record in singles competition, with his most notable win coming against No. 26 Mattia Ghedin of No. 5 Lubbock Christian, where he won 4-6, 6-4, 6-1. In doubles action, he hold a 5-1 overall record, with a national ranking of No. 19 when paired with
Asier Ayllon Prado.
