ST. LOUIS – The No. 43 UIndy women's tennis team fell to Missouri-St. Louis 3-4. The Greyhounds move to 6-10 on the season, and 1-1 in GLVC play. 

Following a close fall in doubles play, UIndy couldn't keep pace with UMSL in singles, despite picking up three wins. 

INS AND OUTS
The Tritons were on the board first after taking doubles 2-1. It started at #1 doubles, where Magda Kornijczuk and Silvia Zappoli had no answer for Morgan Lint and Hannah Tse, falling 1-6. 

UIndy leveled doubles at 1-1 following Sofia Cardenas and Jimena De Pablos Hernando taking down Anna Favaron and Lauren Sweeney 6-2. But UMSL ultimately took doubles after Sasha Lopez and Millei Wileman downed Maelys Thiery-James and Noelle Compton 6-4. 

UMSL carried that momentum over to singles, with Tse defeating Thiery-James 6-2, 6-1 on court #1. Wileman was next to finish for the Tritons, besting Kornijczuk 6-3, 6-0 at #3 singles. 

The Tritons clinched the match with a win at #4 singles, where Lint outlasted Linya Chen 6-0, 1-6, 6-0. 

Following UMSL's win, UIndy registered a pair of straight-set wins from De Pablos Hernando and Zappol, while Cardenas outpaced Giuliana Cunza in a third-set superbreaker, winning 7-5, 4-6, 10-3.
