INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA released the first official Division II regional rankings of the year, with the UIndy men's tennis team listed among the teams receiving postseason consideration. The Greyhounds were one of ten schools listed within the Midwest Region.
This initial release only lists schools in alphabetical order, with the ranked list of teams within the Midwest Region to be announced in next week's poll. The complete field of teams will be announced on NCAA.com on Monday, May 4th.
Last weekend's wins in St. Louis bumped their regional record to a perfect 8-0. UIndy also holds five ranked-wins on the season, and are the highest ranked team in the Midwest in the latest poll publication, coming in at No. 14 in today's poll.
The Hounds won the Midwest Regional last year, blanking Ferris State 4-0.
