ST. LOUIS — The University of Indianapolis fell to Maryville University 17-8 on Saturday at Maryville A.C. The Greyhounds recorded one extra-man goal and won 15 faceoffs in the defeat.
Matt Pereira contributed significantly with two goals on five shots, including three on target.
Amadeo Miller, who took 12 shots and found the net once, had eight of those shots on goal, demonstrating his persistence in attack.
Ryan Carver made an impact by scoring once and assisting on two other goals, efficiently converting his only shot on goal.
TJ Reddington showcased his effectiveness in faceoffs, winning 11 out of 18 attempts, which helped control the game's possession dynamics.
