Men's Tennis Remains Atop Regional Rankings at #1

INDIANAPOLIS – For the second straight week, the UIndy men's tennis team remained atop the Midwest in the NCAA Regional Rankings, per a release Wednesday.

The Hounds held steady at No. 1 after claiming the GLVC East Division regular season title, sweeping McKendree 7-0. UIndy currently maintains a record of 14-3 against DII opponents, with a perfect 11-0 mark against regional competition. The Greyhounds were recently ranked No. 13 in Wednesday's ITA poll, carrying five ranked-wins against opponents listed in the top-20.

The regional ranks also host three other GLVC institutions, with Drury at No. 7, Rockhurst at No. 9, and Maryville at No. 10.

In the Midwest Regional competition last year, the Hounds swept Purdue Northwest and Ferris State en route to the NCAA Championship tournament.
