ROMEOVILLE, Ill. — UIndy took games two and three over Lewis on Friday, with a 10-6 win in game two and a 10-3 win in game three.
The Hounds have now extended its win streak to six games, and its win streak over the Flyers to five, dating back to last season. The Hounds lead the all-time series between the two, 87-60, with series dating back all the way to 1981.

UIndy took an early lead in the first inning when
Brayton Bowen hit a grand slam to right field, bringing home
Bret Perry,
Gavin Duran, and
Chase Mason, making it 4-0. In the bottom half, Lewis narrowed the gap with an RBI single from Cole Clemens, ending the inning at 4-1 in favor of the Hounds.
In the third inning, Lewis surged ahead as Blake Phommachanhom's two-RBI double brought the score to 5-4, giving Lewis a one-run lead.
UIndy responded in the fourth inning, regaining the lead when
Carter Thomas doubled, scoring
Garrett Rusch.
Austin Bode followed with a two-run homer, making it 7-5 for the Hounds.
Lewis added a run in the fifth with another RBI from Griffin Zweeres, but Indianapolis still held a 7-6 lead.
The sixth inning saw UIndy extend its lead with a
Chase Mason's two-RBI single and Bowen's RBI single to increase the advantage to 10-6, securing the victory.

Kaleb Marrs pitched a complete game for the Greyhounds, covering seven innings with a total of 82 pitches. He allowed five hits and three earned runs while striking out three batters and walking none.
UIndy took control in the third inning, scoring four runs.
Joey Humphrey walked and scored on a sacrifice fly by
Gavin Duran. A hit by pitch and a double by
Luke Smock brought home three more runs, making it 4–0 after three innings.
In the fourth inning, the Greyhounds extended their lead. Humphrey scored on a single by
Bret Perry, and Perry later scored on a single by Duran. This increased the lead to 6–0.
Lewis responded in the sixth inning, scoring three runs. Blake Phommachanhom scored on a double by Constantine Coins, who later scored on a ground out. A run scored on an error, bringing the score to 6–3.
UIndy solidified its lead in the seventh inning with four more runs.
Chase Mason scored on a ground out, and
Solen Munson and Smock scored on a wild pitch. Humphrey also scored on a wild pitch, bringing the score to 10–3.
