INDIANAPOLIS, IN – After receiving the #1 seed in the Midwest, the No. 13 UIndy men's tennis team looks to defend their streak of four straight NCAA Tournament appearances.

The other half of the Regional site will host No. 4 Tiffin and No. 5 Grand Valley at 10 AM this Monday. The Regional Championship is set to take place Tuesday, May 11, at 11 AM.
The Hounds enter the postseason with a stellar regional reputation, boasting an undefeated 13-0 mark against regional opponents. UIndy also holds six ranked-wins on the season, and are riding a streak of 10 straight wins.
Individually, Asier Ayllon Prado leads the singles lineup in wins on the season, with a 24-5 record on the year. The 2026 GLVC Player of the Year also has a pair of ranked wins in singles, and is 20-4 in doubles play.
Tadeo Gaggiofatto also comes in with strong numbers, holding a 19-5 record at #2 singles, and a 15-5 mark in doubles.
Mathieu Derache, a four-year player with 50 career wins in singles play, is having another excellent season in both singles and doubles. He's 15-4 on the singles court, and has strung together 15 wins in doubles.
