Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 KIRKSVILLE, Mo. — The #21 University of Indianapolis split their weekend on the road, falling to Truman State in a five set thriller, before bouncing back with a 3-1 win over Upper Iowa.  The Greyhounds overcame a 2-0 deficit against Truman State but fell short in the decisive fifth set. They rebounded impressively against Upper Iowa, hitting .400 and racking up 65 kills while limiting their opponents to a mere .105 hitting percentage.

TRUMAN 3, UINDY 2
After dropping the opening two sets, UIndy surged to a 4-0 lead on Bruton's serve and maintained pressure, with Lynch's late kills sealing a 25-22 win in set three. The fourth set was tightly contested, with the Greyhounds overcoming a 9-7 deficit to win 25-23, thanks to a late kill from Caitlin Blomberg for set point. However, in the fifth set, UIndy could not maintain their momentum, losing 15-13 after battling back to tie at 13-13.

The opening set against Truman St. was closely contested early on, remaining even at 3-3. UIndy's Grace Portwood, Maddie Lynch, and a block from Macy Bruton-Lynch accounted for the first three points. However, Truman State surged ahead, led 8-6, extended their advantage to 23-16, and closed the set 25-19. 


UINDY 3, UPPER IOWA 1
Saturday's match against Upper Iowa began favorably for UIndy, with Portwood opening the first set with a service ace. The Greyhounds built a lead and closed the set convincingly at 25-16. The second set was competitive, with neither team leading by more than two points until Upper Iowa clinched it 25-23, despite UIndy's late attempts to regain control.

UIndy responded strongly in the third set, dominating with a 25-10 win, highlighted by a seven-point scoring run. The Greyhounds kept their momentum in the fourth set, overcoming an early deficit and closing the match with a 25-17 victory.

INSIDE THE BOX
-Lynch had another stellar weekend, recording match-high kills in both contests, with a season-high 23 against the Bulldogs.
-Blomberg etched a new career high with 14 kills against the Peacocks.
-Jansen accounted for five of the Hounds' six blocks against Upper Iowa
