In his lone season with the Greyhounds Bode slashed a .392 batting average, a .665 slugging percentage, and had a .484 on-base percentage ... he led the conference in doubles (24), and hits (83), while also ranking top-10 in the conference in; OPS (1.148), RBis (48) and runs scored (56) ... Bode is only one of two UIndy outfielders to be named the NCBWA All-American teams.

HIGH SCHOOL
A four-year baseball letter winner for the Bulldogs ... earned three Conference Indiana First-Team honors, three First-Team All-Area honors, and a three-time All-State honorable mention ... was awarded the Johnny Bench Award for best catcher in the state of Indiana his senior season ... rated the No. 2 catcher and No. 6 overall player in Indiana and the No. 19 catcher in the nation by Perfect Game.
