2011:  Veratile fielder made 15 starts at four different spots, including eight at second, three in left, three in right and one at third…went 4-for-4 in stolen base attempts…started the year with a six-game hitting streak.

2010:  Made 26 starts, including 21 in right field…handled 56 chances in the outfield with zero errors…tied for the team lead with three outfield assists…compiled a .480 on-base percentage in 111 plate appearances…finished the season on five-game hitting streak, including at least one hit on all three NCAA games…had an eight-game hitting streak earlier in the season (4/18-4/24)…collected two hits and two RBIs in season finale versus 22nd-ranked Northern Kentucky (5/15).

2009: Saw time in 34 games while making six starts at 3B and two at SS…compiled a lofty 1.019 OPS in 27 at bats…strung together a six-game hitting streak between 3/22 & 4/5…hit first collegiate homer with a two-run shot vs. Kentucky St. (3/25)…crossed the plate four times in a rout of Wis.-Parkside (4/26).

Before UIndy:  Attended Purdue for one semester before coming to Indianapolis in January.

High School:  Earned three varsity letters apiece in baseball and football at New Pal…All-Hoosier Heritage Conference and All-Hancock County performer in both sports…hit .430 senior year and shared the team's "Most Valuable Infielder" with fellow Greyhound Scott Lawley…played both ways for the football team…compiled 12 touchdowns and 912 rushing yards in final season while leading the squad in tackles…named team's MVP…one of a crop of three UIndy players from New Pal's class of 2008 (Armour & Lawley).

Personal:  Dual degree engineering major…four-year honor roll and National Honor Society member as a prep…grandfather Deryl Swain played basketball for the Hounds…son of Steve and Liz…born 2/25/90.
