Started all 13 games at running back while also filling the role of primary punt and kick returner...one of 24 Harlon Hill Award candidates...named a unanimous All-GLVC First Team selection and a second-team honoree on the Daktronics All-Super Region 4 Team...also named team's Offensive Back of the Year...set multiple single-season school records, including ones for rushing yards (1475), rushing TDs (19), total TDs (21), points scored (126), all-purpose yards (2237) and punt return average (21.3)...led the conference in both rushing yards and all-purpose yards, ranking 11th in the nation in the latter...twice garnered GLVC Special Teams Player of the Week accolades...amassed 18 gains of at least 20 yards on the season, including six of at least 60...scored a TD in each of the season's first 10 games, including four rushing TDs at Missouri S&T (9/29); had 190 rushing yards and 272 all-purpose yards in the win at S&T, a game that ultimately decided the 2012 GLVC championship...was a major contributor to UIndy ranking fifth in D-II in punt return avg (19.1 ypr) and 29th in scoring offense (35.5 ppg)...compiled a fall semester GPA of 3.94 and was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® NCAA Division II First Team...also captured GLVC Football Scholar Athlete of the Year and Academic All-GLVC honors.
2011
Started all 11 games at running back...named Second Team All-GLIAC after amassing 1,068 all-purpose yards (664 rush, 179 rec, 226 ret)...had five rushing touchdowns on the year, including two in a win against Northern Michigan (10/22)...also scored a pair of TDs at Northwood (10/8) -- one on a 49-yard reception and the other on a 68-yard run; the latter of the two was good for the team’s longest rush of the year...garnered Academic All-GLIAC Excellence honors.
2010
Appeared in all 11 games at running back...named the team's Offensive Back of the Year...led the Greyhounds in both rushing yards (510) and yards per carry (5.1)...reached the endzone five times (four rushing, one receiving)...added 15 receptions for 160 yards (10.7 per)...had four rushes of 30 yards or more, including a 80-yard touchdown run against Northwood (0-9), good for the longest rush in the GLIAC all season...totaled 164 all-purpose yards in that Northwood game (94 rushing, 70 receiving)...scored a season-high two rushing TDs in a win against Ferris State (10/30)...scored first collegiate receiving touchdown in the season finale vs. Ohio Dominican (11/13) on a 22-yard strike.
HIGH SCHOOL
Amassed 11 varsity letters in high school, including four in football, four in baseball and three in basketball...had over 4,000 rushing yards and 50 touchdowns as a prep...named Fort Wayne News-Sentinel's Co-Player of the Year with future Ohio State running back Rod Smith...dubbed all-conference his junior and senior years in both baseball and basketball...starting leftfielder on Norwell's 35-0 baseball team that won the Class 3A state championship.
