UIndy Athletics

2009:  Garnered 21 appearances and five saves as the team’s No. 1 right-handed relief option…led the GLVC in walks allowed per nine innings (0.98)…compiled a 1.95 ERA to qualify for second among the league leaders (min. 5 G, 20 IP)… helped the pitching staff set a new team record for strikeouts in a season (516)…came in with two on and one out and induced a double play ball to earn a save versus USI (5/15) in the NCAA regional…finished the season tied for third in the UIndy career annuls in saves and tied for sixth in appearances.

2008:  Pitched 15.1 innings over the span of 10 relief appearances…allowed just five of 13 inherited runners to score…tossed a scoreless three-inning save in the Hounds GLVC Tournament win versus USI (5/8).

2007:  Pitched 32.2 innings in 22 appearances…compiled a team-low 2.20 ERA and struck out 26 batters against only five walks…one of only two UIndy pitchers not to allow a triple or a homer…secured the closer’s role toward season’s end and earned four saves in final eight appearances…did not allow an earned run in 10 straight appearances, a span of 15.1 innings.

High School:  Seven-time letterwinner in baseball (4) and football (3) … All-County, All-Conference and All-State performer on the baseball diamond…hurled six no-hitters as a prep, including a state record four in one season.

Personal:  Majoring in Business Administration…has worn three different numbers at UIndy: 46 as a freshman, 11 as a sophomore & 20 the last two years…graduated from Triton Central High School with academic honors.
