2015-16
Started day one at the NCAA DII Championships by earning a First Team All-America nod, swimming the butterfly leg in the Hounds’ eighth-place 200 medley relay team … also garnered All-America Honorable Mention on the 400 medley relay team (16th) … part of the gold-medal winning 200 medley relay team at the GLVC Championships, helping the Hounds to a school-and meet-record time of 1:28.70 … named GLVC Swimmer of the Week after winning the 50 free and anchoring a 400 free relay win at a dual at William Jewell (1/16/16)  … named a Division II Scholar All-American by the CSCAA … also an Academic All-GLVC honoree.

2014-15
Competed in nine meets as a sophomore, primarily in butterfly events ... recorded personal-best 50 butterfly time (:21.51) at the House of Champions Invitational, finishing 13th ... took first in the 100 butterfly in meets against Bellarmine/Asbury (10/25/14) and later topped DePauw and Missouri S&T (11/7/14) ... tallied three top-10 finishes at the GLVC Championships: 8th in the 200 butterfly (1:53.46); 10th in the 100 butterfly (:50.49) and 10th in the 50 freestyle (:21.68).

2013-14
Began UIndy career with a 2nd place finish in the 200 IM (2:01.97) against Bellarmine/Asbury (10/12/13) ... also had a 2nd overall finish in the 200 breaststroke (2:17.45) against William Jewell (11/9/13) ... finished 7th in the 100 butterfly (:51.00) at the GLVC Championships (2/14/14).

HIGH SCHOOL
Two-year state qualifier in the 100 breast and 100 fly (2012, 2013) and two-time qualifier in the relays as he helped the Wolves qualify in the 200 medley relay as a junior and 200 free relay as a senior ... helped Oswego win the Independent Conference championship in 2010, 2012 and 2013 ... as a senior, Coonradt was part of the conference champion 200 free relay, while he was runner-up in the 100 fly ... four-year all-conference honoree, Coonradt also served as team captain of the Wolves during his senior season ... an outstanding student that is coming to UIndy on a presitigous Presidential Scholarship after being an Illinois State Scholar and IHSA Academic Achievement Award winner ... was a National Club Swimming Association (NCSA) Junior National qualifier.

Full name is Tyler James Coonradt ... son of Bob and Laurel Coonradt ... has an older brother, Dylan, and younger sister, Jensie ... majoring in computer science ... born 3/24/1995 ... cousin, Mary (Descenza) Mohler was a four-time NCAA champion in the 200 butterfly (2003-06) at the University of Georgia and competed in the 2004 and 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials ... cousin Patty Descenza swam at the University of Maryland.
