Adam Vasil enters his first season as a graduate assistant for the Hounds, bringing the same energy and creativity he had as a player to the coaching staff. Vasil spends majority of his time with Coach Hutchison and the pitching staff and has been instrumental in the development of the pitching staff. Vasil has brought innovative insights to the staff and has also been involved in the recruiting process for the programÂ

Vasil spent the summer as the Hitting Coordinator at the Florida Baseball Ranch where he created and developed individualized training plans for hitters. He also helped a great deal with throwing athletes as well, specializing in pre-rehab throwing programs.

In his one season as a graduate transfer for the Greyhounds, Vasil made 15 starts in 21 appearances ... had nine hits, including two homers and two doubles ... hit the game-winning homer against Tiffin (3/17).
PRIOR TO UINDY:
Played three seasons at fellow Division II member Ashland University before redshirting in 2017 due to injury ... played 132 games for the Eagles, hitting .284 with five homers and 54 runs batted in ... finished runner-up in the GLIAC Freshman of the Year Race ... had a career .985 fielding percentage behind the dish, and was nominated for an ABCA Gold Glove in 2016 ... graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, while minoring in Information Systems.Â

Son of Mary and John ... has one sibling, Kara ... born 10/1/1994 ... Vasil will finish win an MBA in August 2019.
