The Baltimore, Ohio-native Landon Hutchison joined the UIndy staff in the fall of 2017, assuming pitching coach duties for the Greyhounds after spending the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant at the University of Rio Grande.

Hutchison helped the RedStorm to a combined 73 wins in two seasons on the staff, while also serving as the JV team’s co-head coach. Immediately before that, he was a right-handed pitcher for Rio Grande for four seasons and was an integral part of the team’s 2015 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship run, going 6-3 on the mound on the way to earning All-KIAC Honorable Mention.

Hutchison received a bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies in 2016 and a master’s in Coaching Leadership in 2017, both from Rio Grande.
