Plym enters his first season with the Greyhounds on the coach staff after spending two seasons in the UIndy bullpen as a right-handed pitcher.
He pitched in 34 games in 2024 and 2025 with 74.2 innings pitched, picking up seven wins and four saves. H recorded 47 strikeouts with a 7.11 ERA, and recorded saves in both 2024 and 2025 in the final game of the Midwest Regional to cement the Hounds' spot in back-to-back Super Regional appearances. His best overall outing was a one-hit shutout against Findlay (4/24/24) when he pitched 3.1 innings and struck out three batters.Â
Plym also earned multiple awards in his collegiate career including; 2025 Academic All-GLVC, 2024 Academic All-GLVC and 2023 NJCAA Region 4 Gold Glove.Â
Before arriving at UIndy, Plym attended Black Hawk College for two years, and was part of the 2022 and 2023 Sectional Championship winnings teams. He earned nine career wins with a 4.80 ERA in 2023 and three saves in 2022, and won the 2023 NJCAA Region 4 Golf Glove.Â
Plym was a two-sport athlete in baseball and basketball for Hall Township, and honored on the Three Rivers Athletic Conference All-Conference team twice (once as a third baseman and once as a shortstop). He also earned All-Area Second-Team honors at third base his sophomore year, All-Area First-Team at shortstop his senior season, and won a state championship team in his freshman season.Â
