Trevor Forde

Trevor Forde enters his sixth season with the University of Indianapolis baseball team in 2022.

Forde works as the catching coach and helps in the development of hitters by building a strategic and practical approach at the plate. He also plays an integral part in recruiting by bringing in top talent from across the country.

In his time on the UIndy coaching staff, the Greyhounds have earned 15 All-GLVC selections alongside left-handed pitcher Xavier Rivas being tabbed as the GLVC Pitcher of the Year in 2022. As a team, the Hounds have won 30 or more games in two seasons (2018 & 2019) under the direction of Forde.

Forde started out his playing career at Heartland Community College where his teams made two World Series appearances and compiled an impressive record of 110-18. Following his sophomore campaign, Forde moved on to play for then-head coach Gary Vaught at UIndy.

During his playing career with the Greyhounds, Forde started in a total of 45 games through two seasons and notched 24 hits and 12 RBIs at the plate.
