Will Carroll enters his first season with the UIndy Baseball program in 2020.
Carroll is known as the “injury expert” after 20-plus years in the sports media market. He is the author of two award-winning sports books and edited the Carroll Guide to Sports Injuries. His work has been published at ESPN, the New York Times, Baseball Prospectus, Fox Sports, Bleacher Report, and many more. His focus on injury prevention in pitchers has been recognized by many and has consulted with several MLB teams on injury prevention and pitching performance. Carroll brings his knowledge to the UIndy program, focused on data-driven methods of workload management, pitch design, and talent maximization.
