Zach Hall is in his first season at UIndy after a successful career as a student-athlete.
Most recently, Hall pitched for three seasons at Division I Austin Peay, earning several individuals honors on and off the diamond, including a pair of OVC All-Academic selections. During his junior season (2013) he went 8-2 with a 4.53 ERA in 19 appearances, eventually becoming the Governor's No. 1 pitcher. Hall would require "Tommy John" surgery in 2014, prior to wrapping up his time at Austin Peay this past season.
Before transferring to Austin Peay, Hall competed at Parkland College for two seasons, going a combined 13-4 as a freshman and sophomore. He was an All-Midwest Athletic Conference selection and received a NJCAA Academic Award for Exemplary Academic Achievement.
Hall graduated from Austin Peay in 2014 with a degree in Health and Human Performance as well as a minor in Political Science. In 2015 he completed his MBA program in Health and Human Performance with a concentration on Health Administration.
Hall will be assisting Mark Walther with the UIndy pitching staff, as well as taking on some recruiting responsibilities.
