Brad Jones begins his second season on the Greyhound staff in 2011. Jones will work with the running backs this season after spending 2010 as the Tight End/H Backs Coach.
Jones is responsible for the weekly preparation of the running back position. Other duties include assisting in offensive and special teams’ game plans, as well as the recruitment of student-athletes in out-of-state areas.
In January of 2010, Jones was one of only 30 individuals nationwide selected to attend the NCAA Future Coaches Academy. The invaluable program focused on many issues, including the building of successful football programs, career opportunities, communication techniques, diversity and inclusion, lifestyle balance, management and fiscal responsibilities, NCAA compliance considerations, and the preparation of student-athletes for overall academic and athletic achievement.
Jones worked with Offense-Defense Sports last year, serving as both the Director of Camp Operations and Assistant Director of All-American Bowl operations. He has also worked as the Operations Assistant at the Nike Football Coach of the Year Clinics each of the past three years.
Before coming to UIndy, the Crown Point, Ind., native spent three seasons as a Defensive Intern at Indiana Univeristy before receiving his bachelor degree from IU in 2010. He is also a member of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA).
