Cody Carlisle enters his second season with the Greyhounds in 2019, again working with the tight ends and h-backs.
Last season, Carlisle helped UIndy run off 10 consecutive wins, including a first-round playoff victory, on the way to a 10-2 mark. The
38-27 win against No. 19 Fort Hays State marked the program's second-ever postseason triumph. He also helped coached Joseph Sarabia to All-GLVC First Team accolades at tight end.
Prior to coming to UIndy, Carlisle spent four years as the Running Backs Coach at his alma mater, Olivet College in Olivet, Mich. There he helped the Comets to a pair of Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association titles.
His first season on the staff was spent as an undergraduate assistant after injuries cut short his playing career. He worked with the defensive line during spring ball and fall camp before coaching the running backs during the season, all while taking a full load of classes to graduate in the spring of 2015.
As a freshman, he earned a varsity letter and was named the team’s Scout Team Player of the Year before knee injuries abbreviated both his sophomore and junior campaigns.
