Eliot Fields stepped into the role of Defensive Backs Coach for the Hounds in 2018 and will continue in that capacity this fall.

In his first season on the UIndy staff, Fields helped mentor a pair of All-GLVC First Team honorees in corner back Robert Williams and safety Blake Luker. He also helped guide the Greyhounds to a 10-2 record overall, a GLVC title and their second-ever postseason victory.

Prior to UIndy, Fields acquired a wealth of experience at his alma mater Carroll University in a short amount of time. He spent different periods as the Running Backs Coach, Defensive Backs Coach and Assistant Defensive Coordinator since graduating in 2015.

Fields also handled a number of off-the-field duties at Carroll, including coordinating recruiting, film and social media.

As a student-athlete, Fields was a four-year letterwinner. He was twice voted team captain as was named all-conference as a safety his senior season.
