Eric Lantz

Eric Lantz earned a spot on the UIndy staff in 2023, taking over as the Tight Ends Coach.
 
Lantz brings a wealth of coaching experience to the Greyhounds, including the two most recent seasons as Offensive Coordinator at DIII Anderson University. He mentored a number of All-Heartland Conference honorees in his time there, including a second team WR, a second team TE and an honorable mention QB.
 
Previously, Lantz spent a four-year stint on the staff of Rose-Hulman, working as the Passing Game Coordinator, the Wide Reeivers Coach and the Defensive Backs Coach as various points. He was also the Head Coach and OC of the JV squad. He nurtured a slew of All-HCAC performers, including record-setting receivers Raymond Burtnick and Noah Thomas.
 
Lantz started his coaching career as Offensive Quality Control at his alma mater Miami University in 2015 and ’16.
 
He owns a pair of degrees, including a B.S. in History from Miami and an M.S. in Physical Education/Coaching from Indiana State.
