Tariq Drake serves as the Greyhound cornerbacks coach. The former Ohio University standout joined the staff in the spring of 2024 after spending the previous year at Division III Wittenberg University.

Drake handled a number of roles at Wittenberg, working with the corners and special teams while also serving as the JV defensive coordinator and helping with recruiting. The Tigers finished the season 7-3, placing second in the NCAC final standings.

As a student-athlete, Drake became one of the most experienced student-athletes in Ohio football history, playing in an incredible 50 games between 2018-22. He amassed eight career interceptions and was twice voted All-MAC Third Team.
Drake earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Ohio and was a multiple-time Academic All-MAC selection.
